Job Intro

The IOTA Foundation is a pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to revolutionizing distributed ledger technology. Within the Global Trade and Supply Chain team, we are seeking a visionary and experienced software Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our existing Trade Logistics platform towards a holistic decentralized supply chain digitization solution.

Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
   
   1. Develop and execute a comprehensive short-term and long-term product strategy for our trade logistics platform, aligning with the goals of the Global Trade and Supply Chain team and the IOTA Foundation.
   2. Create and maintain a detailed roadmap, ensuring the timely execution of key features and improvements.
2. Requirements Gathering and Definition:
   
   1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, trade partners, and industry experts to gather and prioritize requirements for our trade logistics platform and beyond.
   2. Define clear and detailed specifications for our solution(s) based on industry needs and technological advancements.
3. Development Oversight and Release Management:
   
   1. Work closely with development teams to oversee the timely development and implementation of solution features and enhancements.
   2. Manage the release process, including testing, documentation, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
   
   1. Engage with trade partners, industry associations, and relevant stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges in the global trade and supply chain.
   2. Foster collaborative relationships to ensure our trade logistics platform and future extensions address real-world trade logistics scenarios.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   
   1. Collaborate with technical teams, UX/UI designers, marketing, and business development to ensure our software product aligns with the overall product and organizational objectives.
   2. Facilitate communication and coordination between different teams to achieve project milestones.

6. Market Analysis and Positioning:

   1. Stay informed about global trade and supply chain trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
   2. Define and communicate the unique value proposition of our solution in the context of trade logistics and supply chain management.

   Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Thorough proficiency in software product management best practices and body of knowledge (e.g., ISPMA)
• Proven experience as a software Product Manager, preferably in the DLT or supply chain industry.
• Deep understanding of global trade, logistics, supply chain, and DLT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Nice to have:

• Familiarity with IOTA's technology and the broader blockchain/DLT ecosystem.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, capture, and analysis (e.g., BABOK).
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
• German, Arabic, or an additional European language

We do not do micro-management but rely on OKRs to align tasks and goals covering all levels across our whole organization.
