About us
Gleitsmann Security Inks (GSI) has been a trusted manufacturer and provider of highly secure, durable and efficient inks for government entities worldwide since 1847. The company has been based in Berlin since 1953. In 2023 the IN Groupe (owned by the French government with headquarter in Paris) acquired 100% of the shares of Gleitsmann Security Inks GmbH. GSI continuously strives to improve its products, meeting the latest requirements from its Central Bank, State Printwork and Commercial Security printing customers.
Mission
Customer centricity is not just a buzzword for GSI but has highest priority in every aspect of its operation and innovation. Besides the standard intaglio, offset, silkscreen, numbering inks and protection varnishes, GSI also offers unique and proprietary security features, such as mouveINK or glairINk.
GSI has a solid customer base of renowned international organisations and is an accredited member of the Banknote Ethics Initiative (BnEI) and the International Currency Association.
