Tasks

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop applications and operating systems to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, including ticketing system updates and knowledge base contributions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with team members and other IT departments to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support the setup and deployment of new workstations, including hardware and software installation, to meet organizational standards and requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in deskside support or similar technical support role.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
