At HAGIUS, we’re looking to challenge the status quo. With lots of exciting shifts on the way, we are now searching for a highly skilled Reformer Pilates instructor to join our team.
As a HAGIUS instructor, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing our clients with thoughtful, high-quality guidance tailored to their individual needs. Our goal is not to fill the room - but rather to foster an environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Whilst there is flexibility in how this role may take shape, it certainly comes with influence and is intended for those seeking to not only deliver outstanding reformer classes, but have a hand in launching and shaping the methodology at HAGIUS.
You will act as a guiding force, collaborating with your fellow coaches to bring the concept to life, providing insights and light training to your peers if and when necessary. If you thrive in a setting that emphasizes personalized care, exceptional instruction, and a team-oriented culture, this is the place for you.
The role comprises 3 elements: coaching group classes and private sessions as well as “back office hours” - time dedicated to all things non-client-facing, whether it be class preparations, collaborating with peers, participating in team round-table exchanges and more.
This role is set up as an exclusive, full-time position - up to 35 hours/6 days a week - so as to provide our coaches with a stable environment in which they can invest themselves deeply. (If all of this sounds like you but the terms do not quite fit, a rare exception may be granted where zero conflict of interest can be guaranteed; however our priority remains to bring on a coach who is dedicated to the role).
We are looking for a highly qualified (and certified) Reformer Pilates instructor who has been coaching for at least 5 years - we understand that there are some talented coaches who may have been taught for a shorter period of time but whose passion and investment makes it seem far longer - if this is you, we still encourage you to apply.
We are especially looking for coaches who, like us, know that energy matters. Those who know how to make the room come alive, have a natural flair for building community and engage with their clients in meaningful ways.
Ideally, you have a passion for technique and are a pro at offering impactful adjustments. Your coaching style contains both enlightening insights and well-articulated instructions and is backed by your in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Your passion speaks for itself and shows in your dependable nature. You take your work seriously, show up on time and know how to be a true team player. You’re excited by the idea of working with smaller groups tailoring the experience to the individual.
Bonus points:
We are especially excited to hear from those who see themselves as not only reformer-experts, but as future-leaders of the fitness/wellness sphere.
Qualifications and experience as a strength coach are a major plus as well as more holistic practices.
If you have a personal passion for the Arts, the regulating properties of music and an eye for aesthetics (whether that be in the realm of movement or design) we believe you’ll feel particularly aligned with HAGIUS.
Please note that this is an on-site role, open to applicants eligible to work in Germany. Applications from those based in Berlin and those planning to independently relocate to Berlin are welcomed.
