Senior DevOps Engineer

GSCF offers innovative SCF solutions to leading banks, non-bank investors, large suppliers, and their buyers worldwide through its in-house developed platform.

To support our Technology team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced:

Senior DevOps Engineer

• Maintain, enhance and evolve Public Cloud Infrastructure, including integrated/related platforms and systems
• Define, develop, test, release, update, automate and support processes for DevOps operation with continuous Integration and Deployment
• Redefine the infrastructure and application model toward a cloud-native approach
• Ownership of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) for Cloud infrastructure, including AWS CDK, Helm charts and other related tools and frameworks
• Deployment of business systems and supporting components for existing and new environments

• At least 7 years experience in IT field
• 5+ years of DevOps / Amazon AWS Cloud experience
• Hands-on experience with IaC frameworks (preferably AWS CDK/CDK8s/CloudFormation). Experience with large multi-account AWS setup is beneficial. Additional experience with any other public cloud provider is beneficial.
• Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (administrator level)
• Hands-on experience with Helm charts
• Windows administration experience is beneficial
• Solid understanding of network concepts
• Experience with CI/CD toolset, practical experience with GitHub Actions
• Solid knowledge of at least one programming language - prior development experience is a big advantage
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or an adjacent field
• Agile mindset; Focus on constant improvement and self-education
• High demand for quality, conceptual understanding, and attention to detail

• Fluent in English, spoken and written (German is beneficial)
