To support our Finance & Accounting team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated:
Accountant 80-100%
Tasks
- Accounts Payables and Receivables: Manage daily accounting tasks including intercompany reconciliation and ensuring timely and accurate processing of all accounts.
- Financial statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (standalone and consolidated) in compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS. Conduct in-depth analysis and statistical evaluations to support financial reporting.
- Subsidiary Oversight: Review and control financial statements of subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
- Payment & Foreign Exchange: Preparation and execution of payments, including international transactions and foreign exchange operations.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare VAT and WHT declarations, calculate tax provisions, and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Budget and Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of the budget, annual financial statements, and internal control system. Support year-end tasks and audit preparations.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as needed, providing financial insights and analysis.
Requirements
- Education: Swiss Federal Diploma in finance and accounting or an equivalent degree.
- Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English & German.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong system affinity with excellent knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
- Accounting Standards: Deep knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and familiarity with IFRS is highly advantageous.
