greenteg AG develops, produces, and markets cutting-edge thermal measurement solutions. Besides marketing industrial sensors for laser power metering and for assessing insulation properties of buildings, we also offer a unique core body temperature measurement solution (CALERA®) for wearable devices. The technology empowers customers with a wide range of innovative applications such as improving sports performance, continuous and non-invasive patient monitoring, sleep analysis or early detection of diseases.

Operating globally from our headquarters in Zurich-Rümlang, our dynamic and international team serves a diverse clientele.

To grow our R&D Team we are looking for an embedded software engineer with a flair for product development. The position further foresees a secondary role as a member of our IT department.

Department: R&D.

Work permit: The candidate should have a valid permit to work in Switzerland or be a citizen of an EU/EFTA country.

Start date: Jan 1, 2025 or earlier.

Tasks

  • Design and develop firmware for our wireless wearable products.
  • Assure maintainability and testability of the code, automate testing processes.
  • Optimize test setups for characterization of sensors, materials and devices.
  • Write reports and technical documentation
  • As part of the IT department, contribute to building and maintaining a secure and powerful company IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in C, C++ firmware development with a proven track record.
  • Prior experience with BLE or ANT+ communication and RTOS.
  • Good understanding of SW engineering principles for embedded systems.
  • Advanced level of Python, Git workflow and code documentation principles.
  • Solid foundation in mathematics, electronics, and physics.
  • Prior experience with nRF5 SDK or nRF Connect SDK is a plus.
  • Experience with automation of HW and FW testing (HIL) is a plus.
  • Hands-on mentality and experience with hardware and PCB design is a plus.
  • Fluent in English. German is a plus.
  • Have a valid work permit for EU/EFTA countries.
