A well-established organization is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Payroll Administrator to manage and process employee salaries with accuracy and confidentiality. This role is key to ensuring timely and compliant payroll operations.

Tasks

Process monthly payroll for all employees, including salaries, deductions, and benefits

Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update changes as needed

Prepare payslips, reports, and submissions to statutory bodies (e.g. UIF, PAYE, SDL)

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws

Respond to payroll-related queries from staff in a professional and timely manner

Assist with leave management and employee benefit administration

Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with audits when required

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Qualification in Payroll Administration, HR, Finance, or related field (TVET or tertiary)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a payroll or admin-related role
  • Knowledge of payroll software (e.g. Sage, Payspace, VIP, or similar)
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail
  • Understanding of payroll legislation and statutory submissions
  • Confidentiality, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines
