Avionics System Engineer

GlobalEngineer is an innovative company in several engineering areas that is active in mechanical and plant engineering, development of new systems and their technologies, as well as in testing and type testing. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an interested and motivated Avionics System Engineer with immediate effect.

• You will work on the technical product development in the aviation industries
• Improvement and development of avionics, flight controls, electro-mechanical actuation, communication systems, signal processing and automation
• Taking over system design responsibility
• Technical documentation
• Creating technical specifications, configurations and wiring diagrams
• Assembly of components and systems
• Integration of components in the aircraft and its electrical system
• Software integration and configuration
• Testing of the complete system
• Root cause problem solving
• Managing avionics components and system suppliers
• Improving processes and procedures

• Technical higher education, e.g. in avionics engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering or electrical engineering
• Work experience in hardware integration & specification of flight control and electrical-mechanical actuation for aerospace avionics
• Work experience in software integration & specification of signal processing, communication systems and automation in aerospace avionics
• Experience in radio frequency and in DataLink and/or Satcom is an advantage
• Experience with testing and root cause problem solving for hardware and software components
• English: C1 – Advanced, German is a plus
