Responsibilities:

Customers are mainly within Consumer Brands / FMCG. The insights they get are around prices, promotions, and online visibility from 1000’s of e-commerce shops around the world.

The Data Acquisition team plays a pivotal role in catering for that to happen.

You’ll work closely with the Data Engineering and Data Science teams.

You’re role will mainly include:

• Code and acquire data: Design, code, and evolve systems/approaches that scrape data reliably and cost-effectively at scale, overcoming any challenges in your way.
• Load data into database: Assure loading of data into database / data warehouses at scale and of high quality, cost effectively.
• Maintenance: Take ownership of technical maintenance and incremental upgrades, a critical component of our business operations.
• Cross-team: work with the Data Engineering and Data Science teams.

Technical Skills Required:

• Web Scraping Knowledge: Experience with web scraping (Requests, Bs4, Playwright) and data processing (Pandas)
• Programming Proficiency: Python and SQL, focusing on data handling.
• Understanding Web Technologies: Knowledge of modern web technologies, antibot protection, network requests.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Airflow, Linux
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written English skills are required to effectively collaborate across our European team and stakeholders.
