About us

Foldini was born in Zurich – a food concept that reimagines Italian pasta traditions with creativity, freshness, and soul. Following the success of our first locations, we're preparing for our next chapter: a new Foldini location in St. Gallen.

Tasks

The job you will be doing

You will play a key role in launching and operating our new Foldini location in St. Gallen. Working closely with our Head of Operations, you will learn every aspect of running a successful Foldini store: from daily operations and cooking to team leadership, inventory management, and operational excellence.

As you develop, you will progressively take ownership of the location with the goal of independently managing its day-to-day operations while reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

Responsibilities and tasks that you master

  • Prepare and cook Foldini's fresh pasta dishes according to our standards
  • Lead daily operations during your shifts
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Manage opening and closing procedures
  • Monitor quality, hygiene and food safety standards
  • Organise stock, inventory and ordering
  • Train and support future team members
  • Handle cash register operations and daily settlements
  • Identify operational improvements and solve problems proactively
  • Work closely with the founders to grow the Foldini concept
  • Ultimately take responsibility for running the St. Gallen location independently

Requirements

Skills, experience and qualifications that you bring with you

  • Experience in hospitality or restaurant operations
  • Comfortable cooking and working in the kitchen (cooking experience required)
  • Highly organised, reliable and proactive
  • Able to stay calm under pressure and make decisions independently
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on attitude
  • Passion for great food and outstanding customer service
  • English is required. German is a plus. Italian is appreciated but not essential.
