As a Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d) at Finmatics, you will be responsible for defining and executing our product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. You will act as the bridge between product, sales, after-sales and marketing—ensuring that our product innovations translate into compelling narratives that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption.
This role is perfect for someone with a strategic mindset who enjoys analyzing competitive landscape, understanding customer needs crafting messaging, building product launch plans, and enabling sales teams with the right materials. You will work closely with Product Management, Sales, and the broader Marketing team to ensure our products resonate with our target audience and stand out in a competitive market.
Your Responsibilities:
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop compelling and differentiated messaging frameworks that clearly communicate the value of our solutions to different personas and industries.
- Continuously refine messaging based on market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels, sales materials, and product communications.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches
- Own the launch strategy for new product features, updates, and innovations—coordinating with product, marketing, and sales teams.
- Develop launch plans, including campaign strategy, sales enablement, and content creation.
- Measure the success of launches and iterate on strategies for future releases.
Sales Enablement & Customer Education
- Create and maintain sales collateral, pitch decks, product one-pagers, and competitive battle cards.
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team to ensure they effectively communicate product value.
- Collaborate with account management to improve onboarding materials and training content.
Market & Competitive Research
- Conduct ongoing research to understand customer pain points, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product and marketing teams.
- Own the competitive intelligence process, ensuring sales teams are well-equipped with relevant insights.
Content & Demand Generation Support
- Collaborate with the content and demand generation teams to create thought leadership materials, case studies, and product-focused content.
- Work closely with digital marketing to ensure the product’s messaging is effectively integrated into campaigns.
- Partner with the event marketing team to plan product-centric presentations, webinars, and industry events.
Collaboration with Product Management
- Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to the product team to inform roadmap decisions.
- Ensure smooth communication between product, sales, and marketing teams regarding product updates and changes.
- Help define product-market fit strategies for emerging segments.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3–5+ years in product marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment, ideally for FinTech, or AI-driven solutions.
- Highly collaborative and able to work across multiple teams (Product, Sales, Account Management).
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the B2B sales process.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Experience with webinars, case studies, and white papers is a plus.
- Familiarity with pricing strategy and packaging models for B2B software.
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and paid acquisition strategies is a big bonus
- Language: Native German with excellent business-level English.

- The minimum salary for this position is € 55,000, overpayment possible depending on qualifications
