For decades, freight forwarders have built their teams based primarily on hard skills: training in foreign trade, customs procedures and prior knowledge of transport systems.
In Germany, it takes up to 3 years to train a new team member through Ausbildung. In the meantime, many soft skills are ignored: specific knowledge is accumulated but the basics of providing top-notch customer service are neglected.
At Exikhan / Logic Labs, we are developing a platform that will connect a highly functional TMS with the global market of remote, customer service-oriented workers. We believe that anyone, from any background but with the right soft skills, can work as a forwarding agent and benefit from an international and flexible work environment.
Our mission is to reduce training time to a few weeks without sacrificing effectiveness and operational control.
We are looking for people that are outside the logistics realm. Instead of focusing on typical logistics hard skills, we are searching for those that have developed at least five of the following soft skills list:
