Evident’s Global IT Provider Manager (m/f/d) plays a pivotal and strategic role in streamlining IT operations, enhancing productivity, and delivering business value by partnering with external service providers to deliver global IT services with excellence.

Tasks

  • Oversee the transition and integration of outsourced operations, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes and maintaining high quality standards.
  • Develop and implement IT sourcing strategies that align with Evident’s goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in operations.
  • Manage relationships with IT sourcing partners to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, maintaining open lines of communication for feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Lead operational governance; monitor and assess the performance of outsourcing partners against agreed-upon metrics and KPIs, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any deficiencies.
  • Measure, track, report and evaluate performance to agreed SLAs and undertake necessary corrective actions with the vendors if deficiency in service delivery is detected.
  • Ensure accuracy of billing against contracted services delivered; evaluating service level agreements, service credits, earn backs and other ‘service to price’ mechanisms.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as legal, HR and finance, to ensure that outsourcing arrangements comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Negotiate any new contracts with outsourcing partners, including defining scope, setting performance metrics, establishing timelines, and agreeing on financial terms.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select outsourcing partners based on their capabilities, performance history, and alignment with the company’s standards and requirements.
  • Conduct risk management activities related to outsourcing, including identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and preparing contingency plans for critical outsourced functions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in managing external outsourcing partnerships, specifically top tier offshore providers delivering global technology services across Applications, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security
  • Experience in Vendor Management – specifically working with a top tier offshore IT provider
  • 10+ years experience working in, or alongside, a global IT organization
  • Cross cultural communications – ability to successfully foster a collaborative work environment with internal teams and external service providers that transcends geographical and cultural barriers
  • Risk Management – development of contingency plans to mitigate IT service disruptions and maintain operational continuity and protecting the quality of work delivered
  • Strong negotiation, management, influencing, and decision-making skills
  • The ability to work and communicate effectively with every level of the organization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong experience in Project Management methodologies, certification a plus
  • Complex contract and billing management experience
  • Cross functional leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, or a related field
