We’re looking for a strategic, technical, and hands-on Head of Digital Product to lead our e-commerce and digital experience. You’ll drive the vision and execution of the end-to-end digital product - from the platform architecture and supporting tech stack to the user experience that drives both conversion and retention. You know how to scale product systems and teams, thrive at the intersection of growth, technology, and customer experience, and bring a strong background in B2C subscription brands.
This is a high-impact leadership role where your decisions will directly shape how customers engage with every - and how the business grows.
This role is part of the Growth Team, and reports to the CMO.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Strategic leadership: Develop and bring to life a product vision that aligns with our mission, business goals, and customers’ expectations
- Platform ownership: Own and evolve our headless commerce setup (built on Shopify), including the decision-making around custom apps, architecture, and integrations to ensure performance, scalability, and an exceptional customer experience
- Process and infrastructure optimisation: Build and refine the product development process, QA workflows, and internal tooling (e.g. Sanity, Mixpanel, Convert, Littledata), ensuring the team is operating with efficiency, clarity, and high output quality.
- Business growth ownership: Own the digital levers that drive revenue - from CRO and AOV to LTV. Your impact will directly shape every’s acquisition and overall revenue growth.
- Team management: Lead front-end and back-end product managers, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Includes managing a third-party development agency, as well.
- Delivering a top-notch customer experience: Ensure that the product delivers intuitive, high-conversion UI/UX
- Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with acquisition and retention teams to align digital product initiatives with business objectives and to create a unified product experience
Who you are:
- 7-10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience managing headless Shopify architecture (including custom storefronts, APIs, and integrations) with a clear view on performance, scalability, and build vs. buy tradeoffs.
- Experience with consumer subscription products is highly preferred. Ideally, you’ve worked directly on subscription flows, and you definitely deeply understand how product decisions impact AOV, retention, and LTV.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience supporting or leading data infrastructure improvements, building reporting frameworks, and enabling data-driven decision-making across teams
- Strong eye for design with a deep understanding of UX principles, with the ability to make design decisions that enhance the customer journey
- Proven track record of driving business success through digital products and user experience at B2C brands
- Experienced in leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passionate about eating and living well
- Min. C1 English is required, and native German is a huge plus
- Based in Berlin, or willing to relocate
