We at Everest Carbon believe that geochemical carbon dioxide removal (gCDR) has the potential to become humanity´s most effective CDR pathway. Our business is developing cutting-edge technologies that enable the time- and cost-effective quantification of high-quality carbon removals. Join us as a laboratory technician and embark on a mission to revolutionize gCDR at scale. As the first technician at our Linz facility, you'll play an important role in maintaining our laboratory and assisting in routine analysis.

Tasks

  • Actively be involved in establishing our R&D space in Austria.
  • Keeping chemical and equipment inventory up to date.
  • Assistance in research projects.
  • Carrying out routine wet-chemical analyses.
  • Maintaining analysis equipment.

Requirements

  • Completed technical education (apprenticeship, engineering school, or similar).
  • Experience in laboratory management.
  • Self-directed and organized working style.
  • Communicative, dependable, accurate.
  • Proficiency in English as we are an international company.
  • Prior work experience is a bonus.
