Responsibilities

• You will be jointly responsible for the backend development of our innovative platform solution, which we will be happy to introduce to you in more detail in a session.
• You will be responsible for the continuation and optimisation of existing applications as well as for the conceptual co-design and implementation of new features and services.
• You will contribute to optimizing the development and release process.
• You ensure the maintenance and improvement of code quality and stability through standard measures (code reviews, unit tests, pull requests, etc.).
• You give impulses for the software architecture, security requirements, data modelling and design patterns and exchange ideas with your team.
• You will work on interdisciplinary projects in an open-minded, competent and multicultural team in an exciting environment.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science, information technology, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• You have very good experience in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• You are familiar with REST API, JSON, XML and have experience in connecting third-party interfaces.
• You have expertise in unit testing and design patterns.
• You have experience with GIT, Postman, Jira, Confluence and CI/CD tools. At best, you have good server knowledge, cloud experience and knowledge of AWS and shell scripting.
• You have very good communication skills in English.
• You work independently and in a structured manner, are responsible and an absolute team player.
• You are always interested in finding solutions and exploiting optimisation potential.
