Direct Support Professional

Elevations is a Jobs and Day Training program dedicated to providing continuing education for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be critical in providing person-centered support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting individuals with daily living tasks, facilitating skill-building activities, and promoting independence and community integration. Your compassionate approach and commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering atmosphere will significantly contribute to the well-being and growth of our clients.

• A genuine passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships
• Ability to follow individualized plans and adapt to changing needs
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues
• High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications are a plus)
• 18 years of age or older
• Pass a criminal background check
• Experience in a similar role is highly valued but not essential - we provide comprehensive training and support!
• Able to attend 7 days of orientation/training program
