About us
The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) is a non-profit, limited liability company founded in 2006 by the European Society of Radiology (ESR). It is dedicated to coordinating and facilitating research activities in biomedical imaging.
EIBIR supports scientists by assisting them with calls for proposals, providing project management, dissemination and training services and facilitating exchange and networking among the biomedical imaging research community.
Mission
We want to improve cooperation within the European biomedical imaging community, with the goal of improving the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. We actively support research networking activities and common initiatives and interoperability in the field of
biomedical imaging research.
