SOUS powers culinary creators—restaurants, chefs, catering businesses, and specialty brands—to sell products, manage logistics, and engage their communities. With integrated e-commerce, delivery solutions, and data-driven marketing tools, we are redefining how food entrepreneurs scale their online businesses.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Operations Manager to optimise our internal processes and ensure seamless daily operations.

Tasks

Merchant Onboarding & Success

  • Guide new merchants (restaurants, chefs, and specialty food brands) through the onboarding process, ensuring they are set up for success on the SOUS platform.
  • Provide training and support on how to use SOUS’s tools for e-commerce, order fulfillment, and marketing.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Customer Support teams to address merchant feedback and continuously improve the platform experience.
  • Monitor merchant performance and engagement, offering proactive recommendations to help them optimize their sales and operations.

Customer Success & Support

  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and platform functionality.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, merchants, and logistics partners to ensure seamless service.
  • Analyse support tickets and operational challenges to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering timely solutions and excellent service.

Logistics & Operations

  • Oversee order fulfillment, working closely with logistics providers to ensure efficient deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory, order accuracy, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to enhance fulfillment speed and reduce costs.
  • Work with our logistics partners to continuously improve last-mile delivery solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an operational or product role, preferably in the food, tech or hospitality industry.
  • Dutch speaking and a drivers licence are a must.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and operational tools (e.g., inventory or project management software).
  • Experience with Shopify, logistics tech, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Passion for the culinary industry is a plus!
