For our Client **Henkel dx** we are currently looking for an experienced Lead Backend Engineer (m/f/x). This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative corporate startup, to design, build, configure and test IT solutions of our business applications and new digital products.

Henkel dx, an open innovation, collaboration hub and platform, founded by Henkel, one of the biggest German manufacturers in the consumer goods industry with worldwide brands. This platform will bring together industry partners through a smart network of open collaboration. Its mission is to unite and accelerate Henkel’s entrepreneurial transformation across three pillars: ecosystem, experience and experimentation (build, measure & learn)

## Tasks

- As a Backend Lead, you will drive architectural decisions within the team’s responsibility and collaborate closely with other teams
- You will balance business and technical requirements through strong collaboration with stakeholders
- You will lead a team of developers as part of big innovation hub 
- You will be a mentor for other Team members and help to grow a highly skilled and engaged Team
- You will plan, build, drive and improve applications within the team’s responsibility through the entire product lifecycle from specification to running in production and keep an eye on our business numbers as well
- You will collaborate closely with product owners, and other stakeholders to enable modern application development and enable continuous integration & deployment

## Requirements

We are looking for hands-on candidates with good team/project management skills and deep understanding of software architecture including best-practice design principles, Microservices Architecture, but most importantly you know your way around building RESTfull APIs.
Henkel dx will help the digital entrepreneurial transformation of the Holding Group, which also means adapting new stack and methods. 
Following skills are needed but that doesn’t mean your limited to those technologies: 

- C#, .Net core or Node.js
- RDS (i.e., MySQL) / NoSQL (i.e., Redis/ Mongo/ HBase) / MQ (i.e. RabbitMQ)
- Familiar with container environment incl. k8s, Docker, Hystrix or similar 
- Design and implement system with design pattern, high availability, disaster recovery, and high concurrency
- Experience with cloud environment like Azure or AWS
- Fluent in English

These experiences are a plus: 

- Data Analysis and Big Data
- Front End frameworks like Angular, React, Vue
- Mobile development (iOS or Android)
