We are now looking for a passionate Mid-level Analytics Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Data Team.

Your role in a team:

• Collaboration: Perform in a sub-team of 4 analytics engineers and in a total of 7 ppl data team, fostering the culture of personal and collective continuous learning and growth.
• Hands-on Analytics Engineering: Actively participate in data transformation, migrating to dbt, and implementing best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and departmental analysts to provide data-driven insights.
• Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Promote Data-Driven Culture: Advocate for a data-driven culture organization-wide, promoting data literacy and decision-making based on data insights.

What you need to be successful:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in analytics engineering or business intelligence.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and a strong track record of writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Excellent knowledge in dbt (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation.
• Profound knowledge of Python for scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience with code versioning tools, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with dlt and/or Metabase is a plus.
• Experienced in current cloud based data technologies

Communication Skills

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in project management.

Team Composition

• Data Lead, 4 Analytics Engineers, 2 Data Engineers, 3 BI Analysts dedicated to Marketing, Sales, Operations department.
