DevOps Lead

DBServices helps to design, develop and support digital platforms for large and mid-sized companies in ITC, Banking, Retail, Government, Health, and other industries in Europe and Americas.

• Lead the migration process from SVN to Git/GitHub, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption to ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices and workflows for version control using Git/GitHub.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, utilizing tools such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and deployments.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in DevOps and version control systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on version control systems.
• Proven expertise in migrating SVN repositories to Git/GitHub, including experience with large-scale migrations.
• Extensive knowledge of Git branching strategies, code review processes, and repository management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
