Mobile Application Architect

1. Audit the current MAUI solution proposal to ensure it meets best practices for performance and security in alignment with solution proposals of other parties within the same project.
2. Identify and recommend improvements to enhance app performance, security, and maintainability.
3. Identify potential issues and see feasibility of suggested solutions during meetings with other parties which concerns the project. (The customer develops the backend for the MAUI app and there will be discussions with the development-team of feasibility.)
4. Internally conduct RDS (Research-, Design- and Specify criterias/User stories) and discuss solutions with developers

Experience and Skills

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile application architecture.
2. Proficiency in cross-platform development (.NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms).
3. Strong understanding of mobile security principles, including secure data storage and communication.
4. Familiarity with hardware-backed security features such as secure enclave (iOS) and TEE (Android - Trusted Execution Environment/Keystore).
5. Experience with REST API integration and secure data transfer practices (e.g., certificate pinning, HTTPS).
6. Knowledge of biometric authentication (e.g., Face ID, Touch ID).
7. Proficiency in agile development.

Technical Knowledge

1. Familiarity with cross-platform UI/UX best practices.
2. Hands-on experience with tools like Postman for testing REST APIs.
3. Understanding of dependency injection frameworks and design pattern MVVM.
4. Knowledge of mobile-specific backend integrations such as push notifications, offline data synchronization, and encryption key management.
