Tasks
As the VP People, you’ll be at the forefront of coaching and leading the 3 founders of Fiskaly into the new era of development, post investment with Verdane. You will be at the heart of the people strategy, supporting the internationalisation of Fiskaly, professionalising the leadership team and creating new core processes for scaling the business for the journey ahead.
- Lead the development and implementation of a forward-thinking and data-informed people strategy which is aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives
- Advise and support the founders with the introduction of new leadership hires
- Support in creating and updating organizational structures to better enable the execution of company strategy
- Contribute to building and leading the people team with an impact and growth mindset
- Act as a people business partner to the management team, ensuring alignment between the People function and the wider functional areas
- Develop initiatives and processes around performance management, talent acquisition, Performance and Recognition Systems, Compensation & Benefits, L&D, internal career path programs and employee experience
- Have end-to-end responsibility of the employee lifecycle of Fiskaly employees
- Ensure employee productivity and engagement by enabling performance management systems and processes to provide feedback, set goals, and drive employee success
- Nurture and champion a positive and inclusive company culture that encourages innovation and collaboration (“people come first”)
- Own Fiskaly’s talent pipeline internally and externally, creating standardized hiring processes and providing a high-quality candidate hiring experience
- Further develop the company culture and employer branding
- Coaching of existing People-&Culture, management and leadership team on people related topics
- Optimize Talent Acquisition for High Growth. The VP should reinforce a data-informed hiring approach with standardized practices that are both scalable and adaptable to the specific regulatory needs in new European markets.
- Driving Change Management. With the rapid scaling anticipated, the VP should bring experience in managing change smoothly across expanding teams. This includes reinforcing transparency, implementing structured communication practices, and coaching leaders through growth-related transitions.
- Support Cultural Evolution. Given fiskaly’s commitment to “people come first” and diverse cultural representation, the VP should actively lead programs that preserve and scale the inclusive, people-centric culture. They should create avenues for continuous cultural alignment as the company grows across borders.
- Ideally having worked in a PE-backed corporation in the past.
Requirements
Essential experience
- Multiple years of successful strategic people leadership experience, with clear evidence of business growth and commercial success as a result
- Extensive knowledge of core HR functions and practices and experience working with senior management
- Experience developing approaches to talent attraction, employee development and retention
- Demonstrated capability in adapting and innovating people practices, supporting a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization
- Experience leading and influencing people and culture
- A background working in high-growth companies, minimum the size of fiskaly today (85+ employees) – preferably at bigger scale

- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and people leadership skills
Background & Education
- Qualified in HR and Business
- Fluent in English, preferably additional German skills
