Job Title: Databricks SQL Data Engineer
Location: Barcelona / Sant Cugat, Spain – Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: €50,000 per year

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. You will work on large-scale data projects using Databricks on AWS. Your job will include building data pipelines, writing SQL queries, and helping with data governance and privacy.

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks SQL on AWS
• Write SQL queries, scripts, and procedures
• Work with tools like Notebooks, Workflows, Delta Lake, and DLT
• Collaborate with teams using GitHub, Jira, and MS Teams
• Ensure data privacy (GDPR/PII) and performance
• Help with CRM and customer data (Customer360 projects)

• 5+ years in data engineering
• 2+ years working with Databricks on AWS
• Experience with AWS (especially S3)
• Knowledge of Python, YAML, and SQL
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English
• Experience in Agile teams
• AWS or Databricks certifications are a plus
