The sustainability team at Code Gaia is responsible for ensuring that the work we do accurately reflects the needs of our partners and users. The team is made up of experienced and aspiring sustainability experts who all have a desire to improve the way we do business, which by default means working better for the planet and its inhabitants. Our team is involved in the continuous development of our software, delivering results for our clients, monitoring and maintaining high methodological standards, providing strategic support and advice, topic-specific services such as GHG continuation and EU taxonomy support, sustainability reporting and much more. Working with us means working on a wide range of topics while gaining crucial expertise in the key methodologies and approaches of corporate sustainability.

WHAT YOU DO

As a UI/UX Designer at Code Gaia, you will be a key driver in the sustainability transformation of European SMBs empowered by software solutions. Working with a dynamic product team and cross-functional squads you will craft intuitive and innovative user experiences that empower businesses to thrive in a new world, where the ESG performance becomes as important as the financial one. Your role involves designing and iterating on visual assets - from mockups to high-fidelity prototypes - to create impactful, user-validated designs that resonate with our mission.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, sustainability specialists and engineers in a cross-functional team to deliver seamless and impactful designs
• Design and refine visual artifacts, including low-fidelity mockups, high fidelity prototypes, and end-to-end workflows
• Conduct usability testing with users and stakeholders, ensuring designs are both effective and delightful
• Define and implement measurable criteria to evaluate the success of your designs, continuously optimizing for the best user outcomes.

WHO YOU ARE

• Mastery of Figma or similar design software
• Proven experience in designing scalable, intuitive user workflows.
• A strong understanding of visual language, aesthetics, and UX principles.
• A genuine interest and foundational knowledge in sustainability.
• Exceptional listening and comprehension abilities and clear and effective communication skills.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management and organizational skills.

• Flexibility and resilience in handling ambiguity.

  Nice to Have:

• Expertise in corporate sustainability topics.
• Basic programming skills to bridge the gap between design and development.
