Platform Engineering Consultant (F/M/D)

Join us as a Platform Engineering Consultant and help our customers bring their engineering projects to life with the Cloudomation Platform. You'll work hands-on with Python, collaborate closely with clients, and shape your own role within our flexible, supportive team. Whether full-time or part-time – you decide what fits your life best.

• You will work with our customers on Platform Engineering projects using the Cloudomation Platform (Engine & DevStack). To that end, you will develop Python scripts based on customer requirements to implement their Platform Engineering initiatives with our products.
• You will proactively engage with our customers, manage communication regarding releases, and support them with any questions related to Cloudomation.
• You can choose additional areas of work that you will focus on in times of lower customer workload. You can choose to contribute internally to Platform Engineering, act as a Developer Advocate (creating technical content such as videos and example repositories), work in technical sales/presales, frontend or backend development, technical documentation, or other areas of interest.
• Your primary focus will be on our customers, but we also want to give you the opportunity to explore different areas of our company and shape your role accordingly.

• You enjoy working with people.
• You communicate in a friendly, structured, and proactive manner.
• You are organized and reliable. Experience in project management is a plus but not required.
• You have experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps, SRE, Operations expert, Fullstack developer, or a similar role through which you have gained knowledge about technical processes in software development and infrastructure management.
• You are fluent in either German or English; both is a plus.
  You know Python or another scripting language and are willing to learn Python.

We are required to disclose that the minimum salary for this position according to the IT collective agreement is €3,175 gross per month for full-time without prior experience / €3,843 gross per month with experience. We are happy to pay more based on your skills and experience.
