Chonova AG

The company has been founded on February 9, 2024 as a spin-off of Expertinova AG. Experienced Expertinova Senior Partners, incl. Prof. Dr. Erich Windhab, who led the technology development during his tenure at the ETH, will also actively participate in building-up the company. Expertinova and its Senior Partners have long-standing experience in technology and business development and in successful development and management of innovative Startup companies. Selected Expertinova Senior Partners are part of the operational and management team of CHoNova AG, together with the successful candidates.

Driven by our passion for innovation in production efficiency, we intend to start our journey with revolutionizing monitoring and control of chocolate production with our proprietary DetachLog technology, eliminating defects in chocolate products that arise from incorrect cooling and/or tempering and lead to problems during de-moulding (adhesion to, and product residue in the mold) and significantly reduced efficiency of cooling energy use.
