Cheetah AI is a Berkeley-born start-up building intelligent software to accelerate AI and optimize energy consumption in FPGA-based embedded, edge applications.

The idea was spun out of the University of Copenhagen in the physics department, where a group of computer scientists and physicists worked on high-performance computing solutions handling heavy data on embedded applications in different physics research such as in CERN.
