As an expert in trading cards with a specific focus on Pokémon, you will play a key role in growing our trading cards business through evaluating and organizing lots submitted by our users. With your deep involvement in the community and a thorough understanding of the dynamics of the trading card industry, including knowledge of sellers, competitors, collectors, and trends, you will be responsible for creating curated and appealing auctions every week. You thrive in a high-paced work environment, bringing commercial acumen and a growth-focused approach to your work.
Catawiki aims to keep transactions between users as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience will be key in maintaining this standard. Attention to detail and consistency are essential, as they align with Catawiki’s goal to offer a platform that maintains high standards for both buyers and sellers. You will quickly identify which items are of interest to users, checking titles, descriptions, and photos of the lots while providing auction estimates based on this information. You will also demonstrate professionalism when rejecting items, doing so in a respectful and polite manner.
The role requires spotting potential sellers, guiding them in submitting lots within Catawiki's guidelines, and working with them towards growth. You will work closely with the sales team, offering insights on what is needed and what is trending to ensure both seller and revenue growth.

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means we typically ask you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. Of course, if the job description specifies that the role is 100% remote—such as for certain expert or sales positions—then that arrangement will apply.
