Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead Blackwall's product line. In this role, you will own the product lifecycle end-to-end — from identifying real-world use cases and driving agile development, to collaborating with remote engineering teams and shaping the user experience.

You'll act as the voice of the market within the company, engage directly with customers and partners, and help define how Blackwall evolves to meet the needs of modern infrastructure. This is a hands-on role that combines technical insight, strategic thinking, and customer empathy, with opportunities to contribute to product documentation, marketing content, and industry events.

• You will be responsible for product management of the BotGuard product line
• Build and drive BotGuard’s agile methodology
• Identify both common and exotic use cases for programmatically extending BotGuard’s products
• Represent market knowledge within BotGuard and with customers/partners
• Communicate directly with remote development teams, guiding development efforts, and providing feedback on pre-release software
• Write product documentation and/or brief technical authors on the required documentation
• Write blog posts that describe and promote our solution for real world use cases.
• Attend marketing events, trade shows and conferences that represent Blackwall

• Experience in the hosting industry, ideally having worked for a hosting provider or in a related field.
• Significant experience with NGINX, HAProxy, and Apache server technologies
• Previous experience with CMS tools like Wordpress and similar platforms
• Have a solid understanding of core Internet and API technologies, including, but not limited to, HTTP, REST, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes
• Prior experience with host panel integrations from Plex, cPanel, WHMCS, etc
• Have strong Linux skills
• Previous experience as a Product Manager is a must
• Genuinely care about the customer and end-user experience of the product
• Have an eye for detail, while also considering the big picture at all times
• You have a deep sense of ownership and responsibility about everything that you work on
• You are committed to the companies success and have a strong desire to work in a collaborative way
• You are willing to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel
• Familiarity with Confluence and Jira
