Boost IT (Emagine Portugal) is looking for an experienced Workplace Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and support modern end-user technology services, with a strong focus on identity management, collaboration infrastructure, and device management.

This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless, secure, and efficient digital workplace
experience for our users. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Active Directory, Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), printer management, conference room technologies, and endpoint management platforms such as Intune and SCCM. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Tasks

  • Act as SME for identity platforms including Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure
    Entra ID, and SSO integrations.
  • Manage and support enterprise printer infrastructure, print servers, and follow-me
    printing solutions.
  • Provide technical oversight and improvements for conference room technologies, AV equipment, and Microsoft Teams Room systems.
  • Assist with Intune and SCCM administration for device lifecycle management, application deployment, and compliance enforcement.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align identity and endpoint policies with corporate standards.
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design documents, SOPs, user guides, and change records.
  • Participate in and contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the modern workplace strategy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to identity, access, printing, and endpoint performance.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes, group management, license assignment, and automation tasks.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams for upgrades, rollouts, and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in end-user technology support, with specialization in identity and access management.
  • Proficient in Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, and group management.
  • Solid experience managing enterprise printing infrastructure, drivers, and queue management.
  • Familiar with conference room solutions, AV troubleshooting, and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SCCM (Configuration Manager) for software packaging, compliance, and endpoint policies.
  • Strong documentation skills – experience writing HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, technical
    runbooks, and process documentation.
  • Good understanding of Windows desktop environments and standard enterprise applications (M365 stack).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex identity and endpoint-related issues.
