• Analyze, design, build, test, and deploy API Management and Microservices solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Assume technical leadership role and work with Solution Architects to design amazing solutions; participate in the definition of the roadmap of the solutions.
• Foster Software Engineering best practices across multiple stakeholders.
• Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of Software Development Principles and Practices, as well as ensuring they are understood and followed across projects and stakeholders.
• Mentor and lead team members towards a lean culture that values continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the Software Engineering community to ensure a motivated and collaborative ecosystem.
• Promote business continuity by supporting proposals and hiring activities.

• +5 years of experience designing and developing Microservices and API Management solutions.
• Experience developing Java software (mandatory experience with Java 8 and latest versions).
• Experience developing API Management technologies:
• Google Apigee (mandatory)
• Kong Gateway (optional)
• AWS API Gateway (optional)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Microservice architecture design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge in defining Digital Experience/Engagement architectures.
• Experience in designing and developing API-based and Event-based solutions for scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience in security standards e.g.: HTTPS, TLS, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, JWT, CORS, etc.
• Experience with Caching strategies.
• Experience with Traffic Management strategies.
• Experience in defining and implementing API monetization models.
• Experience in modeling APIs with OpenAPI specifications (Swagger).
• Experience in configuring and maintaining API Developer Portals.
• Experience in defining API Governance processes.
• In-depth understanding of transmission protocols (e.g.: HTTP, WebSocket, TCP, UDP, …) and communication standards (e.g.: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, …).
• Strong knowledge regarding cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
• In-depth understanding of product deployment topologies (SaaS, on-prem, hybrid).
• Experience in TMFORUM Open framework.
• Experience in Telco Business area (BSS, OSS).
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc).
• Ability to adapt to different contexts and stakeholders.
• Open-mindedness to implement innovative ideas (own ideas or from others).
• Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy.
• Motivation for international projects.
