Founding Product Engineer

Bifrost Studios has launched a venture studio that builds FinTech solutions for the global investment industry, including hedge funds, asset managers, and banks. We have partnered with a leading investment research and data firm who have direct access to 55 of the world’s 100 largest investment firms.

This role reports directly to the CEO, a highly successful Founder with a background from distinguished ventures and companies like McKinsey and Rocket Internet.

Candidates must be based on Europe.

In this role you will work with cutting edge technologies to bring products to life for clients that manage trillions of USD in assets.

As the Founding Product Engineer you will:

• Own development of FinTech products focusing on fast iterative processes based on feedback from potential customers
• Own technical excellence in the venture studio staying on top of the latest in LLMs, AI agents, etc.
• Onboard engineering teams to products as they gain traction with customers
• Work in a highly integrated team of product, commercial, and finance experts where you represent technology and product building

• Full-stack engineer with profficiency in python and track record of building entire products from scratch
• Hacker mentality required
• Familiar with the cutting edge of LLMs
• Experience leading other engineers a plus (e.g., Eng. Lead or Eng. Manager), with the ability to guide teams while staying close to the code

• A derisked startup journey with access to 55 institutional logos
