What are we looking for?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing integrated marketing plans, projects, campaigns, and resource development aimed at educating and engaging NMDP Mexico’s supporter community. This includes registry members, donors, donor parents, volunteers, financial contributors, corporate partners, and the public. The role involves managing projects through their development cycle, collaborating with internal cross-functional teams, and working with external marketing agencies to ensure projects meet objectives, are delivered on time, and yield effective results.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develops Communication Assets and Resources
- Collaborates with the Marketing Manager and internal clients to understand business objectives and implement multi-channel communications to meet goals.
- Provides recommendations, plans, project status updates, and solutions proactively.
- Develops resources and executes communications based on project/communication strategy and campaign plans, in collaboration with partner agencies.
- Works closely with the Design and Multimedia Specialist to develop new donor, parent, and volunteer stories, adapting CTAs to business goals.
- Supervises testimonial projects through completion, including video recording, editing, and publication.
- Manages communications and relationships with donors, parents, and volunteers.
- Adapts marketing efforts to regional cultural differences in collaboration with in-region BTMM representatives.
- Manages corporate partnerships and oversees co-marketing initiatives from creation to completion.
Manages Internal and External Resources
- Provides direction to project team members and external vendors, including production, design, mailing, social media, web, public relations, influencer marketing, digital ads, and others.
- Reviews materials from initiation through final approval, ensuring thorough and timely revisions.
- Ensures promotional content is engaging, increases awareness, meets objectives, and drives successful outcomes.
- Facilitates brand review with the lead designer to ensure materials are consistent with the brand image.
- Provides effective project management and team communication from concept through implementation.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with partner agencies, internal clients, and business partners.
Measures Effectiveness of Efforts
- Collaborates with the Marketing Supervisor to establish clear project goals and works to achieve those goals with the project team.
- Requests metrics from partner agencies as needed and tracks project metrics and progress.
- Manages project timelines and budget tracking, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion of projects.
- Regularly reports project results to the Marketing Supervisor, internal clients, and General Manager.
- Provides meaningful updates to the broader project team and department.
- Offers recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
Other Accountabilities:
- Participates in the planning and budgeting process for marketing and communication programs.
- Supports other departments and company initiatives involving marketing and communications.
- Ensures consistency and credibility of the brand across multiple audiences.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Abilities

- Awareness of industry practices and trends in marketing campaigns and communications.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Mass Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in creating and implementing integrated marketing/communication plans and projects.
- Project management experience, including planning and execution.
- Experience in marketing to B2C audiences across multiple communication channels.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Other Requirements
- Availability for overnight travel, international meetings, and flexibility to work outside of core business hours (evenings, weekends).
Salary range (gross monthly): $35,000 - $40,000 MXN
