Tasks

Main Role:

Responsibility for the day to day kitchen operations including (but not limited to);

  • Menu planning based on the high or low season periods in the season.
  • Assisting the Owners with weekly purchasing.
  • Liaising directly with the owner(s) regarding all operational matters
  • Stock management and controls ensuring wastage is kept to a minimum.
  • Maintaining and driving standards with food quality and presentation.
  • Managing all aspects of Food Safety and Health & Safety (HACCP).
  • Assist with menu planning for daily Set Menus and Group menus.

Requirements

  • Someone from within the European Union.
  • Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and the demands of a seasonal business.
  • Commitment to uphold the values of diversity, teamwork, and respect within the workplace.
