Housekeeper / Zimmermädchen in the Swiss Alps

Berghaus Toni is a 17 bedroom (50 Bed) Family run Hotel based at 1930 meters with a 70 cover Restaurant and 40 cover Terrace. It is based in the car-free Village of Riederalp, which is part of the Aletsch Arena Resort in Wallis, Switzerland.

The Housekeeping Role is based on, but not limited to the following tasks:

Cleaning all public areas;

Restaurant, Bar, public toilets, office, bedroom corridors, etc,

Cleaning bedrooms during a guest stay over or when they check-out from the Hotel.

Managing the In-House Laundry room;

washing napkins, table cloths, bed linen, towels, etc.

Liaising with the owner regarding daily schedule.

Reporting any maintenance issues in the bedrooms to the Owners.

Applicants must be from from within the European Union.

Individuals who are Motivated, can work Independently and within a Team and who has previous experience in a Hotel Housekeeping Department.

We are able to assist with obtaining a Work Permit and accommodation.

In Winter Riederalp is a great place for skiing, snowboarding, Hiking, and paragliding.

This is a job offer for the 2024/25 Winter Season starting on 4th December 2024 and ending on or around 22nd April 2025.

The exact end date will be communicated to all Team Members no less than 2 weeks before.
