We're looking for a driven and curious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients – identifying new opportunities, starting conversations, and helping us build strong relationships from the very beginning.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys communication, research, and working in a fast-paced environment where initiative and curiosity are highly valued.
Tasks
- Proactively identify and qualify potential customers through research on various channels including social media, company databases, industry directories and more
- Initiate first contact via calls, emails and other communication channels to spark interest in our products and services
- Conduct initial needs assessments to understand each lead’s unique challenges and ensure our solutions are a good fit
- Evaluate leads against predefined criteria to determine if they align with our ideal customer profile
- Pass on qualified leads to the Sales team and assist in planning follow-up activities
- Deliver product demos to highlight key features and benefits, helping potential clients see the value in our offering
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data in our CRM system to ensure full transparency throughout the sales process
- Regularly prepare reports on your activities, results and key wins
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects and represent our brand at trade shows and external events
- Support on adjacent tasks as needed, contributing to the wider sales and marketing effort
Requirements
- Strong interest in sales, business development or customer engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in speaking with people on the phone and via email
- Structured, proactive and self-motivated approach to work
- Familiarity with CRM tools (experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, etc. is a plus)
- Strong research skills and a keen eye for spotting opportunities
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
