Tasks
- Head a team of FX sales people.
- Ensure a positive, supportive and motivational culture, maintaining and improving sales performance through the training, coaching and development of your team.
- Guide your team in acquiring new business from clients from various industries.
- Develop sales strategies and techniques based on client feedback and your knowledge of the market.
- Pitch and close deals with prospective clients.
- Manage relationships for new customers to ensure smooth on-boarding and first trades.
Requirements
- Track record of sales management within FX or other cross-border financial services (e.g. import lending, export lending, international payments and collections, cash management).
- You possess first-class communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to mentor, coach and develop people.
- Skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels within SME customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in German and English. Other foreign languages are an advantage.
- Speak fluent English and German.
- University degree / additional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, or CEFA are a plus.
