Director - Origination Institutional Clients (all genders)

Our client is one of the leading investment banking boutiques in the DACH-region and has successfully completed a large number of transactions with a total volume of more than €50 billion since 2013. In addition, they have raised funds from institutional investors totaling over €3 billion.

• Acquisition of new business from institutional investors like pension funds, family offices, foundations, insurance companies, etc. with a focus on the DACH-region.

• Strengthening our client's market positioning within the institutional environment and with other market participants.

• Market analysis and development of the sales strategy (with regard to customer requirements, products, markets, customer groups, sales channels, etc.).

• Identify new business opportunities and find ways to turn those into profitable business.

• Close cooperation with and direct reporting to senior management.

• Occasional participation in conferences and preparation/contribution to investor webinars and annual investor meetings.

• University degree, qualifications such as CFA / CAIA are an advantage.

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a solid track record in institutional sales, preferably in an investment banking, capital markets, or asset management environment.

• You bring a strong and resilient network among institutional investors (pension funds, family offices, foundations, insurance companies, etc.) in the DACH-region.

• Entrepreneurial thinking and work ethic.

• Ability to work independently.

Very good knowledge of capital markets, ideally with experience in real estate (equity/debt).

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in German and English. Other foreign languages are an advantage.

• Good understanding of the general needs and regulatory requirements of institutional investors.
