To support our Development Team, we are looking for a working student based in our office in Hamburg.
We are an early stage Start-Up and our goal is to automate Laboratories using vision guided collaborative robots. From reading displays, to pick & place workflows, free orientation and movement of the arm in the lab-space, and high precision pipetting of liquids, we are doing it all.
Tasks
- Support in PCB-Design of simple boards (creating schematics, selecting parts, board-layout)
- Development & Design of new mechanisms (mechanical & electronic) and adaption of existing designs
- Integration of IOT-Devices / Sensors / Motors
- programming microcontroller (MCU)/ Microprocessors (MPU) like arduino, ESP etc.
- Contribute to the development of an automated solution for laboratories, focusing on a 6-axis robot.
- Engage actively in the development processes, assisting in the design and creation of components tailored to specific requirements.
- Innovate from concept to reality: Develop components and assemblies starting from initial ideas, through 3D-printed prototypes, to the final product.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a technical field of study such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Development, Electrical Engineering, etc.
- A keen interest in the development and adaptation of components in CAD (preferable AutoDesk Fusion), with initial experience in additive manufacturing for prototype construction.
- Experience in layout of electronic circuits, part-selection & assembly (soldering) of SMD and THT-Components (preferable EAGLE/Fusion)
- Experience in FDM-Printers & 3D-printing orientated design
- A bright curiosity and interest in cross-disciplinary challenges related to topics like robot control, sensor integration, AI, Visual Detection, etc.
- Ability to work independently with proactive research skills.
- Structured and logical thinking, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in an agile team environment.
- Good English language skills.
