They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer that will develop and maintain database architecture and code initiatives supporting internal and third-party software solutions, delivering excellent products in scope and on time, and meeting current and long-term business needs for the business area. Participate in an agile team of motivated, driven, high-energy engineers, building trust and confidence with team members and business stakeholders.
Tasks
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver timely, effective, and high-performance data solutions
- Design and implement scalable data architectures, including developing automated pipelines
- Maintain and optimize database systems to ensure consistent application performance and availability
- Analyze business data requirements to identify data needs and integrate data from diverse sources
- Support new product launches, system enhancements, and implementation efforts
- Foster team growth by mentoring, coaching, and collaborating with colleagues
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Between 2 and 4 years database developer experience (SQL Server or equivalent)
- Ability to create data models for the integration of multiple systems
- Ability to create and maintain stored procedures
- Ability to write SQL queries and statements to explore source data and data issues
- Knowledge of cloud data technologies and architecture
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation (or Powershell)
- Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
- Knowledge of BI tooling, Power BI preferred
- Familiarity with data-specific unit testing frameworks
