Wafer Fab Maintenance Engineer

For the Wafer Production Maintenance team at Axetris AG we are looking for a dedicated person for preventive maintenance.

• Preventive maintenance, repairs and optimisation of equipment in semiconductor production
• Carrying out fault analyses, maintenance work and technical conversions to ensure smooth operation and maximum uptime of the production facilities
• Implementation and utilisation of the MES system for planning, scheduling and logging maintenance activities
• Working closely with the process and operations departments to support the high-volume, defect-free production of micro-optics
• Ensuring detailed documentation of machine status, maintenance activities and work performed
• Collaborate with production teams and external contractors in the planning, installation and commissioning of new equipment

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology or similar
• several years of experience in the maintenance and repair of machines/equipment in semiconductor production
• Knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (MES) and MS Office
• excellent problem solving skills and knowledge of optimising processes to improve machine uptime
• strong communication skills and good German and English language skills
