About the Role:
As Vice President of Global Operations and Sales at Aritec New Materials Group AG, you will oversee and lead our global sales team in Switzerland, driving business growth and expanding our market presence. This senior leadership role requires a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in sales, business development, strategic planning, and operations within large multinational organizations. We seek a VP with expertise in at least one of our core segments. Fluency in English is essential.
Tasks
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute global sales strategies that align with Aritec’s goals and market opportunities.
- Oversee the end-to-end operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes across all regions.
- Provide visionary leadership to the sales and operations teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders globally.
- Drive the development of innovative sales solutions tailored to meet diverse customer needs.
Operational Excellence:
- Implement best practices in operations to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with global standards and regulations.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a primary liaison between various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and integration of strategies.
- Foster strong collaboration between sales, operations, R&D, and production teams.
- Provide regular updates and strategic insights to the senior management team.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in sales and operations management within a large, global corporation.
- Fundamental experience in at least one of our core segments: construction, energy and offshore, hoisting, conveyor and transmission belts, telecommunication, or tires, is required.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and operational efficiency in an international setting.
- Experience with CRM tools and systems is desirable.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English, capable of professional interactions in a global business environment.
- Knowledge in German and any other languages is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams across different cultures.
