About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Client Services Specialist to join a fast-growing fintech company delivering high-performance connectivity and workflow solutions to global Fixed Income and Derivatives markets.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, client services, and production operations. You will work closely with clients, product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful operation of a mission-critical electronic trading platform.
You will play a key role in supporting client integrations, investigating production issues, managing incidents, and driving resolutions across multiple teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and gaining exposure to electronic trading technologies and capital markets.
Location & Travel
This is a remote-first role for candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone of North America.
Occasional travel (typically 1–2 times per month) may be required to client locations in New York and Toronto, as well as company offices in New York and London.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with technical integration, connectivity, and onboarding activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting customers and trading workflows
- Investigate system alerts and service incidents across production environments
- Own incidents from identification through resolution, coordinating with internal engineering and product teams as needed
- Manage production and UAT accounts and environments
- Act as a primary point of contact for technical client queries and escalations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service quality and operational processes
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Experience in Technical Support, Application Support, Client Services, Production Support, or a similar client-facing technical role
- Strong Linux/Unix command-line experience
- Solid understanding of the FIX Protocol and electronic trading systems
- Experience managing and owning production incidents through to resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Fixed Income markets or Capital Markets
- Linux/Unix scripting experience
- Understanding of APIs and system integrations
- Experience using GitHub
- Ability to read and understand Java code
- Experience supporting financial trading platforms or SaaS products
