Controller (Accounting & Finance)- Crypto/Trading
New York, USA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary: $185,000 – $235,000 + Equity + Full Benefits
An innovative fintech/web3 startup backed by top-tier investors is looking for a hands-on Controller to build and scale the entire finance function from the ground up.

Tasks
What You’ll Do:
• Own the full accounting cycle: month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, reporting
• Build scalable internal controls and finance processes
• Manage treasury, tax, compliance, cash flow forecasting, and equity-related finance operations
• Partner directly with leadership on budgeting, fundraising, financial modeling, and strategic decisions
• Implement and optimize finance systems with AI-driven workflows and automation
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
• 6–10 years of accounting/finance experience
• Background in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred) + startup/high-growth company experience
• CPA preferred
• Experience running finance/accounting operations independently
• Strong systems/process builder mindset
• Active user of AI tools in finance workflows
• Interest in crypto/web3/digital assets is a plus
• Must be based in or open to relocating to NYC
