• Design and develop secure, well-tested features for our innovative Insurance Platform
• Contribute to achieving business goals with creative and collaborative solutions
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Platform Engineers and other stakeholders to tackle technical and business challenges
• Develop maintainable, scalable, and elegant code that follows best practices

• Around 5 years (or more) of experience as a Software Engineer — we value diverse journeys and experiences
• Familiarity with agile environments and Scrum ceremonies
• Experience (or interest) in payments integrations and processing
• Professional know-how with NodeJs, TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, PostgresDB, Redis, AWS services, Docker, Git, and CI/CD
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design and testing best practices
• Knowledge of design principles like DDD, SOLID and architectures like Clean or Hexagonal (or a strong willingness to learn)
• Practice or interest in writing various kinds of tests: unit, integration, end-to-end, and contract tests
• Strong communication skills and openness to share and discuss ideas
• Comfortable working on UNIX environments (Mac preferred)
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) — other languages are a plus!
