Position: Legal Counsel - Data Privacy

Location: Zurich
Salary: CHF 120’000-140’000

• Provide expert legal advice on data privacy and protection, ensuring compliance with regulations related to data collection, processing, storage, and transfer
• Develop, implement, and maintain data privacy policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices
• Conduct risk and impact assessments to identify potential privacy risks and manage data access requests in compliance with applicable laws
• Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to minimize legal risks from new technologies and data processing initiatives
• Monitor the effectiveness of the data privacy program, recommending enhancements for continuous improvement
• Conduct legal research on emerging privacy issues and develop guidelines, articles, and reports on various data privacy topics

• Fluency in English
• Resident in Switzerland
• Completed legal degree and/or relevant compliance certification
• 3+ years PQE in the legal field in data privacy law
