We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product/Regulatory Compliance Officer to join a forward-thinking and fast-growing iGaming company. This role is critical in ensuring that all in-house and partner gaming products meet regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
As part of the compliance team, you will manage the certification roadmap, maintain licenses, oversee reporting duties, and act as a key liaison with regulatory authorities and testing labs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-impact role and is passionate about maintaining operational excellence in a regulated environment.
Tasks
- Manage and execute the annual product certification roadmap for both internal games and partner games.
- Monitor and support the full game release cycle from a compliance perspective.
- Prepare and submit all quarterly and annual regulatory reports as required by licensing authorities.
- Participate in day-to-day product certification activities to ensure delivery according to plan.
- Review and implement Remote Technical Standards and regulatory changes across relevant jurisdictions.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and compliance registers.
- Serve as a point of contact for technical compliance queries with regulatory bodies and test labs.
- Support commercial and product teams by providing ongoing compliance advice and market analysis.
- Lead or support the process of acquiring new gaming licenses and entering new markets.
- Monitor regulatory developments in current and targeted jurisdictions and share relevant updates across the company.
- Respond to regulatory authority inquiries and assist with internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with the product compliance team to pass all audit and licensing inspections.
- Act as the designated MGA Internal Audit Key Function Holder
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product or regulatory compliance within the iGaming sector.
- Strong understanding of licensing frameworks and technical standards in jurisdictions such as Malta, UK, Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Gibraltar, and others.
- Experience managing certification processes, compliance reporting, and document submissions.
- Ability to analyze and interpret regulatory frameworks and apply them to product development and business operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
